Trieste Italian Courses

Dozens of students successfully attend every year the courses offered by Dante in Trieste. With the help of qualified teachers and the possibility to take part in a number of cultural events, you can learn Italian in Trieste.

The lessons, based on modern learning methods, are given in Italian and are supported by traditional texts, as well as by the learning material specifically prepared by the teachers.
Our teachers are graduated and qualified, follow and help the students with competence and preparedness. Our language courses are successfully attended by students from all over the world.

The courses on offer are wide-ranging:

  • Yearly collective courses from October to May, Monday and Thursday afternoon
  • Intensive courses
  • Individual courses
  • Course for the PLIDA Tests
  • Courses of Italian culture: History of art, literature, history, history of music
  • Business courses/Italian for work
  • Weekly courses for small group of students.

Yearly Courses

These courses have a duration of six months, for a total of 50 hours of lessons. They take place from October to April for two hours/week.
Groups are formed by a min. of 5 students to a max of 10.
They are divided into three levels: Beginners – Intermediate – Advanced.
These are intended for those who can devote more time to the study of Italian and can also follow the cultural initiatives offered by the Dante Committee.

Intensive courses

These courses are aimed at developing tailored learning programmes. They are organised also for small groups (2/3 students).
According to the need of the students, these courses can begin at any time and have a varying length.

Courses for a fellow student/scholarship student

These courses are intended for the winners of scholarships given by the Main Office of Dante Alighieri to particularly worthy students who would like to improve Italian language rapidly.
